P. Jeffrey Brooks, DDS, MD

Meet Dr. Brooks

Dr. Brooks grew up in Richmond, MI. His undergraduate education began at Grand Valley State University and he received his DDS from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1993. Dr. Brooks completed his medical degree, Oral and Maxillofacial Internship, and General Surgery Internship at the University of Louisville. He began practice at Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates of Western Michigan, PLC in 1999.

Dr. Brooks is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a Fellow in the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the International Team for Implantology. He is an active member in numerous professional organizations: American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Michigan Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Kent County Dental Society, and American Medical Association. He is past president of the Kent County Dental Society and past lead Board Examiner for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialty Licensing Exam for Michigan.

Dr. Brooks is married and lives in Grand Rapids with his lovely wife and four wonderful children. He is an avid mountain biker and has raced competitively throughout Michigan since 2002.
