Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Drs. Schultz, Domin, Brooks and Erbentraut manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Each doctor practices a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This includes diagnosis and treatment of facial pain, facial injuries, a full range of dental implant procedures, and the administration of office-based out patient anesthesia.
The clinical staff at OMSA of Western Michigan are experienced, oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist the doctors during the administration of anesthesia and surgery.
